Abzeichen und Uniformen des Heeres (Badges and Uniforms of the Army) is a very informative 4-3/4 x 6-5/8 inch, 32-page softcover publication by Heinz Denckler. It was published in 1942 by Heinz Denckler Verlag of Berlin, a company that produced many similar military instructional manuals during the Third Reich on subjects like gas masks, maps, Walther pistols, hand grenades, marching, SS, SA, HJ, NSKK, etc.
The heavily illustrated pocket-size book starts by explaining the three branches that make up the Wehrmacht or German Armed Forces, the Army, Navy and Air Force, led by Adolf Hitler. It goes on to explain its leadership (OKH, OKM, RLM), Officer and Enlisted dress and combat uniforms, ranks, as well as the Waffenfarben or piping colors of different branches of service.

The 84 illustrations in Abzeichen und Uniformen des Heeres show collar tabs, armbands, shoulder insignia, patches, combat badges, braided trim, all carefully named, shown and explained.
For example, page 21 has the Großdeutschland Ärmelstreifen or sleeve insignia worn by members of the Führerbegleitbataillon (LSSAH) followed by sleeve insignia for members of the staff of Hitler's Headquarters and Propagandakompanien.
Special badges and medals shown are Panzervernichtung (Tank Destruction Badge), the Infanteriesturmabzeichen (Infantry Combat Badge), the Panzerkampfabzeichen (Tank Combat Badge), Sturmabzeichen (Infantry Assault Badge) and even the Narvik Shield.

This in-depth 76 year old Nazi uniform and badge publication was printed in Pilsen (now in the Czech Republic, but then a part of Hitler's Greater Germany), and has the name of the original owner written on the title page. It is complete and in very good used condition. Even the order forms for other Denckler books on the last two pages are still there, without writing on them.
