There is coverage of burglaries, the arrest of two suspected Hungarian born thieves, a fire on 4 August 1941 (caused by lightning) on a farm that created substantial damage, the afternoon rape of a 13 year old girl by five Viennese teenagers in a changing cabin on a beach on 2 August 1941 (top left), the case of suspisious bloody clothes resolved (center left), the conviction of two postal workers who were found guilty of stealing Feldpost packages (bottom left), and the murder of an 82 year old farmer who was knifed to death by a 31 year old “mentally inferior” man who hid the victim’s body in the woods after severing his head (image below - top).
These are original confidential Vertrauliche Mitteilungen or “confidential announcements” from the Kriminalpolizei Wien, the Nazi Criminal Police in Vienna which was the second largest city in Adolf Hitler’s Greater Germany. The two original A4 (8-1/4 x 11-5/8 inch) pages were for internal police use only and dated 6 August 1941.

At the end there is a tally of police matters that occurred between 7 AM on 5 August and 7 AM on 6 August 1941. They include “Offense against Body and Life” - 35, “Offense against Morality” - 42 (10 arrests), “Manhunt” - 32 (6 arrests), “Fraud” - 24, “Malpractice and Illicit Trade” - 26 (8 arrests), for a total of 447 offenses and 49 arrests (including 28 cases from the Weibliche Kriminalpolizei or Female Criminal Police).
There were also three suicides, one suicide attempt, five missing persons cases and two public welfare arrests, listed separately.

The two pages are stapled together and the second page has a blank back. The first page with the printed Kriminalpolizei header shows it is Formblatt Nr. 72 (introduced in 1939) printed by the Printing Office of the Polizeipräsidium in Vienna.
The piece has its original staple, two punch holes and it appears a Vienna police employee spilled some tea or coffee on it as part of the top edge of both pages are very slightly stained. The staining does not obscure any of the text. No odor.
Very rare original Nazi police material rescued years ago from the city archives of Vienna. See picture below for additional provenance.
